4. Fire Protection

Obviously (and as explained in section 3. Fire Prevention) it is preferable to prevent a fire from starting in the first place, but if one does break out the occupants of the building must be protected from its effects. Fire can spread in four ways: 1. Direct burning burning material comes into contact with other materials and sets them alight 2.
