The First Aid Risk Assessment you have completed will have identified the number of trained first-aiders you will need.
If you are worried that you haven’t got this number right, the rule of thumb is one first-aider for every 25 people.
Types of First Aid Training The two main types of first aid training are: 1 day emergency first aid at work training 3 day first aid at work training The 1-day course is designed to make the trainee feel confident enough to deal with any life-threatening first aid emergency.
It is ideal for those in a low-risk environment such as an office.
