2. Types of Training
General Training is the imparting of information and there is a whole spectrum of delivery options from the simplest through to high-level, externally-assessed qualifications.
The CP (and HR department if relevant) must select the correct mix of the training options available for each worker. At the simplest level, training can be delivered by posters and information on noticeboards.
Such information must be used as a reinforcement of more formal training and they are a very useful way of having permanent reminders in place for important messages.
This form of training MUST NOT be used instead of other forms of training! What you must do Decide on the messages you want to get across and use posters and noticeboards accordingly.
