4. Fixtures and Fittings
For commercial premises to remain in a safe condition, it is essential to have a programme of planned and responsive maintenance in place. Some items require inspection, maintenance and servicing by specialist contractors.
Other items can be managed perfectly well in house. We have given examples of the items covered by these two categories below, but it is not possible to cover every single fixture and fitting that could be in your premises, so you MUST list everything that you think will require inspection, maintenance and servicing.
