5. Visitors
You should have a clear visitor procedure for a number of reasons, including: Security of employees Security of your assets and equipment Security of confidential information The Health and Safety of the visitor/s. Visitors need to know your Health and Safety arrangements, so that, in the event of a fire or an accident, they know the correct procedure to follow.
This responsibility is delegated to the person receiving the visitor. The employee and/or Manager receiving the visitor are responsible for that visitor for the duration of the visit.
